Hi! My name is Stephanie.
Romans 8:28 says:
An we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
I quoted this verse on my wedding day because I couldn’t believe how easily my husband’s and my wedding had come together. The details are a story for another day, but while we had spent two weeks busily rescheduling a day originally planned for eight months ahead, we were amazed as detail after detail fell into place. We could feel God’s presence that day, and it was as if we was smiling on our union and assuring us that He blessed it.
This verse has set the tone for our marriage to date. We’ve spent the last two years in a whirlwind. We set out on a cross-country move, bought our first humble home, welcomed our beautiful twins, and faced the unexpectedness of a cleft lip and palate in our son, all within two years.
Day by day, we’ve witnessed the promise of Romans 8:28. Not everything that we’ve faced has been good, yet God has worked and continues to work things together for good.
Join me as I share my journey raising my twins, building a home and walking through the steps of correcting a cleft lip and palate. While I learn and share, I hope you too will be able to see the beauty of God working all things together for good and just maybe start loving the unexpected too.
